Set it on the trivet to get it in and out of the pot easily.
I had bought some other pans for the instant pot that came with racks, so that I could cook two items at one time. Those pans are super small and I was disappointed. So, I ordered this pan and it is really is a great size, and will hold more food. I like to use this for pot-in-pot cooking. When using it alone, instead of sitting on top of something else, just set it on the trivet so you can easily get it in and out,
