I like these colors. They're not exactly one color, they're kind of in-between colors which I like, and they're great for writing but not coloring. If you paint small areas and use small strokes, they look great and the color comes out great. If you paint something bigger or use bigger strokes to cover a larger area, they look awful! They will have lines where they immediately lose color and to me some of them stop working because they are caked with ink but I think that's just because they are glossy. Look at the image above for examples of long strokes and smaller strokes, you'll see what I mean. The swirl of blue was applied in small, fine strokes, while the purple and turquoise colors were applied in long strokes. Therefore, they are not suitable for dyeing. A good gift for a child and they are easy to refill and use making them better than some I have used before.
