This item is probably overpriced and doesn't have a place among my more durable hand tools. But I was dealing with a very difficult angle to access a blown lightbulb and if I didn't buy this tool I would have to spend many hours disassembling my fridge to get it, which is where I used needle nose pliers could use to bring the base to the light broken bulb. Experience has taught me that when you need to take apart a device, a lot can go wrong and I expect an unforeseen problem. So this little device saved my sanity and a lot of time.
