I bought these black light flashlights for my grandchildren who live in Arizona. They use them in the desert museum to hunt scorpions. Sounds weird, I know, but when you shine black light on a scorpion, it glows. I used one when I visited and it was pretty cool. I don't really like Scorpios so that scared me a little. LAUGH OUT LOUD. I'm sure they would be good for other purposes as well. These little lanterns seem to be pretty well made and as my grandkids are quite young they were sturdy enough for them that if dropped they would hold up. The price was right. They sold almost the same lamps in the museum and took twice as much. I would recommend them.
