This pan is well built in terms of weight and balance. The heat distribution seems to be really good. The handle (as stated) does not get hot. My biggest complaint is the pan's "non-stick" aspects, which are mediocre at best. By the way, I've already boiled eggs on it 4 times. Scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs and fried eggs. Eggs stick to the pan every time unless you use a lot of fat. more than I normally use with my other nonstick pans. And even then, I have to scrape the bottom of the eggs with a spatula from time to time to loosen them. I "turn the eggs" but I don't even try to use this pan because of the shape and the fear the eggs will get stuck.
