BUYER WARNING! When you purchase this device, please be sure to keep the box in case of any problems. I just bought it 2 months ago. We left the device upright for over 24 hours after receiving it, plugging it in and unplugging it as recommended. It worked fine for the first month, then problems started causing the unit to spit water out of the top grate. It took almost 2 months before it started spitting up water. Water flew everywhere. I bought a warranty from Revain but since the unit was so new I had to go through Black and Deck. Working with Black and Decker is not child's play. It took me hours to find the right caller because the number I was given had nothing to do with the air conditioner. I finally have someone to talk to. You submitted my claim. Today 8 days later I get a call that they will replace the device but I need to put my current device in the original box. Nice, but I don't have the original packaging. The box was very big and I had nowhere to put it. Now again I'm waiting for them to find a solution to the fact that I don't have the original packaging. When you get a device that works perfectly, it's a great device, but when you get a Black and Decker device, it's very complicated. That's why I only give 1 star. I would have expected it to last more than 2 months.
