I built a portable bluetooth speaker that works with a 12" plug. Everything worked fine except for the digital noise at low volume. I traced this to a bluetooth dongle that needed power and ties signal ground together via the power amp RCA jacks and pushes the bias through the A/D converter amp It was in the key so the filter capacitor was useless on the power side The BESIGN Ground Loop Noise Isolator does exactly what its name suggests and isolates the key output from the amp's ground. This reduced the noise level of my powered speaker to an inaudible level. As an added benefit, the ground loop lowered the signal voltage, and the BESIGN ground loop noise isolator increased the available gain, giving me a portable speaker , the so probably quieter than louder.
