I usually take the complete Jagwire Road Pro cables but it doesn't seem to be sold at Revain anymore and the individual kits seem to be double the price of what they used to be complete kit. These cables came in non-OEM packaging and no instructions. The brake cable housings in particular are clearly inferior to the "Pro" version (much heavier, more difficult to cut). The internal shifter cables are stock steel without the slick Teflon coating you get on the "Pro" version. While Teflon has a smoother feel initially, in my experience it tends to stick together after about 5000 miles, which is why I actually prefer these standard steel cables. Internal shifter cables seem to be particularly prone to fraying when cut, so prepare to be crimped immediately after cutting. After installation, the shifting and braking quality is good. Since they come without instructions, I cannot recommend these cables for beginners.
