It was perfect for my 2003 Nissan Xterra. You should already have the factory towing package installed! Remember! The factory tow harness with plugs is located behind the corner of the rear passenger side bumper and once you've removed that plug, apply some dielectric grease and just plug it in! It's a little tricky to unplug this original plug, but installation doesn't get any easier. Now you can safely tow a trailer with headlights. A highly recommended product.
