My birds love to gnaw the bottom of any birdhouse, so I needed one that required more effort. I got this cabin in large part because of the hole in the middle and it's perfect for her! Now they come in and out in the mid section and my birds haven't started chewing on the bottom yet. The design is cute and the hutch is spacious for a medium sized parrot. My birds do NOT live in the hut, but they take turns hanging in it to nap! All in all a perfect find for your pets!
