Review on Continental Contact Winter Reflex Black by Michael Zambrano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The WXC300 excels on ice and pavement.

I have both this tire (Continental Top Contact) and a set of Nokian WXC300 studded tires. The WXC300s are fantastic on ice and hard surfaces, but they have annoying rolling resistance on dry roads, and the lugs hum like crazy, making pedestrians give you strange looks. These Continentals are great for those winter days when the bike lanes are mostly clear so you won't need spikes but will leave patches of snow so you need some reassurance. You're not paying for the high rolling resistance and studded tire noise, but they hold up the packed snow pretty well. This is a great tire to use during most of the winter season when you often encounter dry roads. i want pens I also suspect they won't do well in deep, choppy snow, but all is very well there. I would recommend these tires to anyone living south of Canada or Alaska. If you live there, you might need something like Nokian W106 as a regular winter tire.

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR ELECTRIC BICYCLE. All Continental city and trekking tires are designed for a standard speed of at least 25 km/h and offer protection against premature warfare through additional torque from electric boosters.
Cons
  • Some problems
