I have one in my living room 23x15. Don't notice any difference. Only two settings High or Low. High - very loud, low - soft whisper. But do I get a low level benefit? I do not think so. I've had it for about a week and haven't noticed any change in air quality. I'll be back. Maybe I chose the wrong block for my room. I see in the reviews that many people were happy and they had a noticeable difference with the air in the room. Unfortunately I bought 2 extra filters. It makes more sense to buy one unit and buy more filters when satisfied.
