I bought this to store a broom (not a broom) on the back of a laundry room door. I use a broomstick to cover the ceiling fan vent throughout the house, which is sometimes left open. This is a simple wooden broom. I attached the bracket to the back of the door using the supplied adhesive pad. It gets a solid 5 stars for the quick gluing. This suction cup stands firmly on the door. But the broom immediately slipped out. No matter how many times I tried, it just slipped out. Finally, I applied several layers of tape to the end of the broom so the edge of the tape now hooks to the inside edge of the hole in the holder and stays in place. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I don't think I need to tape the end of a standard broom handle for the holder to work. At first I thought I installed it upside down or something, but the holder is exactly like the picture on the door. Most people gave this product 5 stars. I wish I knew her secret on how it works!
