Easy to install. Functions? I think so. I can definitely say that the response is more precise and direct when my truck is moving and I step on the accelerator, but when I start from a standing start I'm not sure if the response is different. Part of me says it's a little more responsive offline, and part of me says it's a psychological reaction. When this came up, the docs claimed that the 2.6 setting was the factory default, which doesn't correspond to any device. I'm running with mine set to 3.4. I haven't noticed any difference in the consumption values of the on-board computer yet. I'll keep an eye on it to see if I'm affected by the fuel economy, but right now I don't think it bothers me.
