Review on 🧩 M3D Filament Materials Compatible with Software by Brian Garrett

Terrible value for money so far (12/25/18)

The Spark Notes: Pros of this product: - it's small (if you need a compact printer) - you get 3D printing ! That in itself is amazing and will be a big part of the future. Cons of this product: - it's small - you pay $99 plus shipping to return the product if you decide you don't like it. It seems like most people don't. If you buy an item on sale, you cannot return it at all. You're stuck with that printer you don't need. - poor performance (I've heard/seen of every non-sponsored review) - must use their brand of filament spools, no you can't just transfer filament from regular spools to their own miniature spools, yes you have to spend extra money for a holder thread, so add 10-20 dollars to that price. The build volume is so small at 4.4 x 4.4 x 5.4 inches. You can't do anything practical with a printer of this size apart from figures. Once you have this printer you will regret not having bought a bigger and more versatile device - you must be connected to a computer to print, you cannot download data to an SD card and print remotely (I imagine that the noise is very annoying to people). who type at night and want their computer in their room) My research on this product category led me to the following conclusion: Within a few hours I have already found a number of better options that I would like to have instead of Christmas. If you find this review, I strongly encourage you to keep looking and look elsewhere. There are many better options out there for the price range with a lot more versatility, more features, and a lot more punch. I would happily spend around $125 for a product like this. My experience with this company: Terrible printer. DO NOT BUY THIS. This brand will no longer exist. My dad gave me this for Christmas, but sadly didn't know much about M3D's reputation. I was considering returning this poor quality printer and was told that you cannot return items that were sold at a 'sale price' unless you pay the company $99. It looks like this company pays Google for ads and keeps their product up for sale so they never have to pay back (again) without a profit. A complete scam by this company and I'm sorry they took advantage of my father who just wanted to give me a great Christmas present that would lead me into the world of 3D printing. Because of this I felt the need to write a review and let people know that this is by far one of the worst 3D printer options at this price point.
