Review on π Women's Nike Pegasus Running Shoes in Current Grey and Teal by Dave Knain
Wanted to LOVE these. . . but not.
Ahhh. I really wanted to love these shoes. I run on the track regularly. These shoes have an odd fit - loose in the heel, roomy in the toe, but very tight in the midsole. If I tie them regularly my toes go numb after about 3 miles. When I loosen the laces (even a little) my foot slides all over the place which makes me unsteady. I've been running this distance for 7 years now and have twisted my ankles more times in these shoes in the last 6 weeks than in the 7 years before that combined. I tried changing the insoles but that didn't help either. I would feel safe in them when running errands but not walking the trail. As for the pros - they are great and the sock is nice. If you decide to buy them, I hope you enjoy them more. Happy trails. π
