Excellent battery, the best they have. We have two of these, this one and the Magenta T Mobile version, which need to be paired as advertised. We got the second one at a discount. The MegaBoom's sound is decent but not as loud as the Charge 4 and at full volume the difference is imperceptible while the Charge 4 is "mono". For example, the biggest problem is interference when connecting in stereo with other Megabooms, even standing between them causes distortion and connection issues, and the phone turns off even when 40ft from the speaker, so bluetooth? Fur. Not worth the $ IMO. Both MegaBooms have been replaced, one with a Charge 4 (better connectivity and almost the same sound) and the other with a JBL Xtreme 2. If you intend to use it outdoors I don't recommend them. We took them to the beach and both together just weren't loud enough and even the beach waves drowned out the music. Like, not worth it at all. iPhone phone for reference. Overall, connectivity issues were the biggest issue for the $not a good buy. Also, if you put it in water it stops playing music until you take it out, so an ad where you can see it submerged in water and playing? Lie.
