A few years ago we had an older, smaller version. I opted for a larger model. The sound is good and so is the battery life. Using the app from an iPhone usually works well. The app lets you add multiple speakers, which is really cool. At times there seems to be some interference when listening to the smaller speaker and the new larger one, the UE Megaboom. I updated the app. There may be interference in our house ie LEDs etc? Overall I would recommend. Sound is good, portability is good.

I got this from my husband for Christmas and I love it. No music is loud enough for me to drown out my own voice, but this one sounds closer than anything I've ever heard from a Bluetooth speaker, and I've had too many to count. Looking at the price now I find the price high but I also hope the quality and the guarantee are the same as all the speakers I've had so far are out of service. Long term we'll see but so far very happy with the sound quality and battery life. Definitely 👍

I needed a portable speaker for my porch. I used a Bose Sound Mini that died from getting wet and was now looking for a different speaker. Very annoying from the start. When it arrived I wanted to turn it on and start listening to music but it completely died. As soon as I turned it on, it immediately started repeating "Battery critical, please charge." over and over again.
