I'm allergic to stainless steel. So this titanium heart did the trick and cured my infection. But it was so difficult to put on. You have to bend it to open it, it's hard to tell how to put it in without it being backwards. I bled my piercing so much trying to put it on that I still have it backwards. Once you've inserted it, trying to bend it back into your heart is nearly impossible without the excruciating pain of pulling your ear. I'll be going to my piercer soon, maybe he can twist it but I'm not looking forward to it, when I pull I'll feel my heart open and close again. In general it is very beautiful. I gave it 4 stars because it did its job and got rid of my infection within 3 days. But I won't try again myself.
