These high quality ladders come with an easy to install bracket. It took me less than ten minutes to install it. The hinges are riveted with some sort of aluminum rivet, so there shouldn't be a problem with rusting. The mount is beautifully finished and easy to assemble. I used the purchased set in an unusual way as a ladder to access the bed. My dog, girlfriend and I had trouble getting in and out and that should have made everything so much easier. I'll add some carpeting to warm them up a bit.
