I have another GUB product - a handlebar mount - which I have been using on my bike for over a year with no problems. I decided I wanted my phone outside of the grill and was very happy that GUB offered a solution. I love that this mount uses the bike's hardware and not the mount around the handlebars. The only thing I would like is a set of grips that wrap around both the bottom of the phone and the sides. My old GUB handlebar mount has them, and while I don't think they're necessary to protect the phone, they add a little extra security. Overall, this is another well-built and durable product from GUB at half the price of other premium outdoor mounts like the QuadLock. And it's universal! A special case is not required.
