Great tool for detailing. I have RA and was having a really hard time using my eye cutters so I tried v-tool. I am very happy with the results. It came out of the box razor sharp and feels good in the hand. Unfortunately I dropped it on the concrete floor the first time I used it and of course it landed point down so I had to sharpen it with diamond stones. It took every 5 minutes and it was good to go again. If you're hesitant to buy it because you're worried about sharpening, don't worry, it's very simple. I'm not sure what carving tools I'll need next, but I'll definitely consider Flexcut first.
