I loved the extra space on my counter but it broke!
We usually have about 3 bunches of bananas in our house at a time because we have a whole flock of kids. They are very well made and I am very satisfied. Note: I used the screws I had on hand, about 2x the ones that came with the hooks, just to be on the safe side. As other reviewers have pointed out, the hook is indeed flush, *but only on one side*. Before you hang them, be sure to mark which way they are going. I changed the rating from 5 to 3 stars. The hook broke after less than 2 months of use :(
