This thing is so stinky. I was running out of counter space because we had just had a baby and the least important thing was the banana stand so I needed a new spot to accommodate our nannies. I found this, bought it, took about 3 minutes to install and couldn't be happier. I'll show our banana hook to anyone who'll listen (I'm not kidding). I agree with the previous reviewer. The overall modern design/appearance is beautiful. However, when not in use, the hanger will not stay flush with the bottom of the closet. It hangs down about 25-30 degrees. There doesn't seem to be a way to tighten the mechanism to fix this problem. Not worth $12.95.
