I have used several silver polishes and cleaners over the years. I find that most "immersion" cleaners, while easy to use, don't do their job very well. If you want pure silver, you have to polish it and put in some effort. Oh yes, and polishing. This polish is no exception. Just rubbing it lightly will not get the desired result. If you take a little time and really work on the polishing, it works wonders. I usually polish all my silver pieces about twice a year. I have a lot of cutlery and it takes time to really clean it, so I do this all day, sitting in front of the TV and spending most of the day looking at the cutlery and cleaning it. Even if you only have a few pieces set aside for a while, you can really put the time needed into polishing your pieces properly. I have found this to work very well with my silver jewelry, I have used ultrasonic jewelry but it has not really made my silver look new. On my jewellery, on the other hand, it was fantastic. I applied it with a soft cloth and used a small, soft baby toothbrush to clean the crevices and fine details. Again, this takes time and sometimes more than one application, but the end result is stunning. For candle holders, crockery and cutlery I usually only needed soft fabrics. I don't know how long it will keep things in such great condition, but it's been almost three months since I've polished things and they still look great. My guess is that items that get washed more often may lose the protective layer they seem to give and then need to be cleaned more often. I can't say if the results last longer but I can say they gave better initial results than I've had with other silver polishes I've used such as B. Weiman. It's twice the price for about the same amount but works better so I think it's better value for money.
