Crappy chicken - never cooks enough eggs

I eat eggs every day of my life. usually fried in fat. I decided to start cooking and hard cooking to save calories. Boil water, add vinegar, time. I decided it was time to try the egg cooker. It sucks. I've tried to improve it in every way and I've NEVER gotten the consistency or doneness I wanted. The same amount of eggs. Same egg temperature. Adjust the amount of water 5 or 6 times to get them to boil properly and EVERY TIME it's either WAY undercooked or WAY overcooked. There's nothing pleasant about that. I thought, well, it can't fail when cooked, can it? So I put 7 eggs in it and filled it just over the line as I think it was undercooked. As other reviewers have said, water boiled over and leaked on countertop and cabinets throughout the ENTIRE cook cycle. I let the eggs sit for a few more minutes after the chirping to make sure they were done and none of them were hard-boiled. NOT ALONE! Screw that thing, she's coming back. Get what you pay for. It's garbage. Sweet. But garbage. i love cute Sweet goes far. I really wanted this to work well, hopefully I don't die of salmonella and live long enough to get another stove and the days of happier egg eating will be ahead. UPDATE: Okay, I got another stove before sending Henrietta back to the coop. . Spring. Obviously, my expectations of these cheap devices are too high. Steamer poaching is not really poaching. I figured out how to get Henrietta to boil eggs when they are simmering and difficult to boil. The first. can't harden 7 very large eggs. but you can also do 6 without licking. I should add about a teaspoon or two of additional "poaching water" and make sure to use smaller eggs as well. and everything was fine. Ultimately I'm a fan of quirks so I decided to keep the Henrietta and send back a replacement as it was incredibly cheap and didn't have a built in water level feature.
