disappointed with plastic

Used once and sent back. It worked great and my eggs were perfect. After use, I took the eggs and put them in cold water. When I went back that day to show and do it again the pieces didn't fit together due to possible warping of the insert. It's already discolored on the inside. I ordered another egg cooker, all metal, but haven't used it yet. hope it's better She is sweet. I want her to hold up better.

Design flaw for small appliances

I've had the same part for years and it worked great but eventually it stopped working. So I ordered a replacement from Amazon. Arrived but defective. The buzzer didn't work so the plastic on the hot plate melted when I checked it. I reported it and got a replacement right away. But the exchange also failed. The buzzer works but the plastic egg holder doesn't fit directly onto the metal hot plate so now all the water is boiling all over the counter and the eggs aren't fully cooked. Now I just…

Love, love, good for the kitchen and dining room

Love, love, love, Henrietta! So quick and easy to use. I love poached eggs for breakfast, but haven't made them on weekdays because it's awkward sitting at the stove getting ready in the morning. Now I fill up with water to the correct mark, lightly spray non-stick spray on the 4-piece divider, crack the egg into the shell and cover. When I leave, the eggs are perfectly cooked and he whistles loud enough to hear from the other room when the eggs are done. The only thing that would make it…

Solves buzzer issue

We had a Dash egg cooker that worked fine except the signal when the eggs were done was too loud and shrill. This would be appropriate for a fire alarm or nuclear accident. Every time it surprised me, I wasted years of my life. This Henrietta has an electronic tone that's loud enough to be heard from another room, but quiet enough not to cause a heart attack. It sounds like a notification, not an alarm clock. You still have to turn it off. Automatic shutdown would be better. But we can highly…

Cute, quirky and functional.

This is my second Henrietta. My first one works great so far. I bought a second Henrietta because now I can make a lot of eggs at the same time. The eggs come out great. Just remember to place the eggs in a bowl of ice water after they're done. Then your eggs will be perfectly cleaned. This product is so strange. Henrietta will chirp when your eggs are ready. When not plugged in, it also makes a very cute sound. The only downside is that for some weird reason they used a non-stick surface where

Henrietta is freaking adorable!

I have had an egg cooker for many years and recently had to replace it. I traded my stovetop for a whisk with this device, which I'm very happy about. One downside: It doesn't have a setting for medium-boiled eggs. That's why I give 4 stars. Medium is the main way I want to get my balls, but there is a somewhat easy way around this. Fill the water bowl just above the poaching line and below the hard line and you'll get an average result. It will take a few tries, but it will give you an average

But we like the article itself, which is why we asked for one.

Henrietta is not very impressive yet. It kept turning itself off while cooking and never "chirped" when it was done. I have tried this several times. But we like the product itself, so we asked for a replacement. FYI, this is plastic, not ceramic. UPDATE: They sent a replacement within 3 days (very impressive). This one works. However, tweeting is only part of creative marketing. Unless they wanted to use an electronic chicken sound. and it is also barely audible. UPDATE TO UPDATE: After only 3

Perfectly hard boiled eggs every time and easy to peel!

I love this little cackle - although as another reviewer said, it's not really a cackle or squeak - it beeps. Product Eggcellent - does exactly what it says on the tin and does an excellent job. I eat a couple of eggs for breakfast every morning and it's so nice to put them in Henrietta and know they're perfect and I don't have to keep an eye on them or wonder if they're done. Tip: Heat the eggs in the shell in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes before using them for poaching to cook the…

Crappy chicken - never cooks enough eggs

I eat eggs every day of my life. usually fried in fat. I decided to start cooking and hard cooking to save calories. Boil water, add vinegar, time. I decided it was time to try the egg cooker. It sucks. I've tried to improve it in every way and I've NEVER gotten the consistency or doneness I wanted. The same amount of eggs. Same egg temperature. Adjust the amount of water 5 or 6 times to get them to boil properly and EVERY TIME it's either WAY undercooked or WAY overcooked. There's nothing…
