*UPDATE October 2020* Throw away the chair today. After 2 days of very very loud squeaks and crackles I asked my husband to inspect the chair, take WD40 and spray it all around. Turning the chair upside down, we found that WD40 couldn't fix anything. The wood is badly cracked and to be honest I'm surprised it's still holding the weight. It's only a matter of time before I collapse with a baby in my arms when the chair collapses. I am changing my rating to 1/5 star as I no longer recommend this chair. Will definitely last longer than 7 months. I am by no means a heavy person, and neither is my husband. There is no reason why this chair (sold for a child's bedroom) should break so easily, ESPECIALLY at this price. We literally rock our child in it. The "hardest" thing we've ever done in this chair is stand up, and sometimes if you lean forward too much, the rocker will do it. Guess what. swing back! Go away and don't buy that chair. Spend your money elsewhere. The only good thing this chair has to offer is the ottoman. My son is 6 months old, so we have been using this chair several times a day since he was born. In the beginning it was so convenient. Now the seat is a bit worn. One of the arms began to squeak loudly as it swung. If you want a good chair, this is a good chair. It's easy to get rid of when the baby belches or drinks milk and squirts it out of the mouth onto the stool. This is a great neutral color. I estimate that Comfort lasts a year. Ideal for a small space like a small child's room. I love the rocking footrest, you really can't beat it. But if I went back 8 months when I bought this I would probably buy the chair.
