Accurate, easy to use, easy to keep safe, quality item

A few years ago I worked in a calibration lab for about 5 years and we tested the accuracy of all types of items including thermometers. Turns out thermometers are pretty easy to calibrate, unless you need pinpoint accuracy (like hundredths of a degree), all you need is a pot of boiling water (in the lab we should have used distilled water, but tap water will work). in this case quite well), and the temperature of boiling water (unless you live somewhere in the mountains) is 212 degrees. So I boiled water and it showed exactly 212 degrees (see picture). Next you had to mix the ice bath in our specially designed insulated container and after mixing and holding the ice bath for a few minutes to heat up it was always 32 degrees (see picture) and yes the thermometer was right on the money. The last thing we did was take a comparison reading from a known reference, like our lab thermometer, somewhere in the middle of the temperature range to make sure it was accurate (see image) and following the mark exactly. So let me summarize: Accurate at high temperature Accurate at low temperature Accurate at room temperature Waterproof Alarm to let you know when your meat reaches the set temperature Presets for different types of meat USB charging for several months A family eats meat that was brought to the right temperature and it's quick, easy and accurate, what more could you ask for, and the fact that it folds in on itself is another safety feature (I'm stuck on one of our attempts to find something in a drawer) If not 5 stars then I'm definitely confused :) So 5 stars for an exceptionally accurate and high quality product.
