The product was very easy to use without instructions. The instructions were however very detailed, straight forward and easy to understand which I appreciated. The alarm feature is great and the product works faster than other thermometers, which is great because my kid hates sitting still forever waiting for the results, but with this product I dont have that problem. The only thing I'd improve is I would want a larger display and to be able to read it in the dark. But besides that it's the best thermometer I've ever owned so far.
