Review on NGK 54058 Spark Plug Wire by Rosalio Zavala

Update January 2021: These wires are still working great after 5 years and over 50,000 miles. Great replacement when you need new spark plug wires! Initial review May 2015: I bought these for my 2006 Mini Cooper S. These spark plug leads combined with a new Beru center coil and new platinum spark plugs from NGK got my car running like new again! When I hit the gas pedal it started shaking and the "Check Engine" light came on. When I read the fault code it was for "Misfires - Multiple Cylinders". I examined the old spark plug wires and found that there was a frayed hole in the portion of the wire that goes to cylinder 3. I wasn't sure if my CE light was glowing specifically because of the cord or because the old plugs were also causing the problem. Given that new spark plugs, new wires, and a new coil only cost about $100, replacing it at home was a good first step before taking the car to a mechanic for a diagnostic test, which would likely cost more than that what . My Mini Cooper has a lot more pep than before and the check engine light didn't go out after about 100 miles.
