When I bought this bike rack I was skeptical of how strong and durable it would be to hold 4 heavy e-bikes for my 600 mile round trip. on many very, and I mean very crazy, bumpy, back roads in Michigan's upper peninsula. with this bike rack on the back of my 4x4 pickup. I figured I'd have to add some custom welding to this rack and add some custom metal hardware just to be on the safe side. to the rack to add strength. but I can't believe the high quality and solid construction of this rack! I've ridden roads so bumpy, with huge potholes, my rear bumper collapsed, and that damn bike rack just never let me down, no way! The only thing I wish they were done differently would be a larger diameter locking pin. I understand why the price of this rack was high. But I have to say that you definitely get what you pay for with this villain. it will definitely last a lifetime. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a solid bike rack, no worries.
