Review on πŸŒ™βœ¨ EZDIY-FAB Moonlight 120mm RGB Case Fan with Fan Hub X and Remote, Motherboard Aura SYNC, Speed Control, Addressable Fan for PC Case-6 Pack by Frank Webster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with the quality, noise level, airflow and lighting, especially for the great price!

**Pros and cons are listed below if you don't want to read to the end** I really wasn't expecting the whole batch of 6 RGB fans for $50 , but I have to say I love these things! After looking at a ton of different RGB fan kits, I settled on these because of the cost and looks, and they were the only ones with a fan controller that I didn't see a single short or burn. As soon as I unwrapped them I could tell they felt pretty meaty. Thick plastic, won't bend or wobble. The fan controls have a papery feel, which is usually an issue, but so far it's worked great. Everything was easy to install, the included screws easily threaded into the fans, the double-sided tape on the controller is strong, and the cable length is long enough even for large cases. Everything worked smoothly. The colors and effects are absolutely beautiful, the transitions are very smooth and the colors are vibrant, you can also adjust the speed of the effects. The remote control is very basic and it may take a little time to scroll through the effect options, but it works perfectly. The airflow is really good and the noise level is surprisingly low. You can use the controller to set low, medium, and high speeds, and they're all pretty quiet. I did not find any errors in the work. And as a big plus, unlike some inexpensive kits, they retain your settings after you turn off or unplug the power. something else that I know and I don't think other fans will work with the controller. There's also no PWM to control fan speed, everything has to be done with the included remote control. The controller has an ARGB socket to sync with your motherboard, but I can't verify this due to the lack of a socket in my setup. The fan controller is a SATA powered VS Molex which is nice and seems a bit safer thanks to the Molex horror stories I've seen on other devices. The decals on the fan blade hubs also sit well, they don't have that annoying wobbly look that some fan decals have when improperly applied. year from them I will be really happy. PROS - Robust build quality - Beautiful vibrant RGB colors and cool effects - Tons of nice effects - Easy setup - Everything works and no bugs (so far) - 6 fans and a $50 controller! - Great airflow and quiet beautiful blade design - Deliver power SATA instead of Molex - Can connect 10 fans and 2 LED strips to the controller (albeit proprietary) - Fans can be confirmed to work well on a heatsink - Good cable length - Retains Settings when powered off and unplugged Full RGB coverage, front, back and side rings and blades are highlighted. CONS - Proprietary fan caps - No PWM for speed control - If the remote breaks or gets lost there's no other way to change colors and effects unless you're using something synced to your motherboard, you can't change the fan speed. - Simple remote control, works well but takes a long time to go through all the effects - Doesn't seem like you can control the brightness unless you use a solid color - All fans always run at the same speed. It would be great to be able to regulate different fan speeds individually, such as higher or lower speeds for intake or exhaust. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far so good! I will update if anything changes.
