These high quality pen caps look very nice. However, they are not the same color as the Forester Sport Orange accents. They're more copper-colored than the 2022 Subaru Wilderness accents. The color difference didn't stop me, I installed it anyway and I'm very satisfied with the look. The stock Subaru knobs look pretty gaudy, these pads are a big improvement. Installation. that's another story. Following the installation pictures online, I placed each handle cover on each handle; It was obvious it wasn't going to work, the caps are a bit bigger than the Subaru grips so they just twist and fall off. Tried various types of more permanent attachment and came up with teflon tape which is used in plumbing. but only the thinnest Teflon tape will do. the writing that is so thin you can almost see through it. (I got my Teflon tape from Harbor Freight) Wrap the stock grip once and press down on the grip cap with some force and voila, the caps stay in place, work and just look great.
