I bought their cheaper camera for my 2001 Toyota Echo which was the base model (no frills). It worked so well my husband and I decided we should give it a try as it is wireless for our 2006 Toyota Sienna as the van license plate is on the tailgate. We have a fully loaded Sienna so there are hundreds of cords and my son and husband didn't want to accidentally mess anything up. Installing the camera was a simple task. The guys put the transmitter behind the panel. It was an easy 20-30 minutes. For wireless pairing (which happened automatically) they used the cigarette lighter power supply for the monitor. It also worked for testing to make sure everything worked well before they closed the panel on the tailgate. Installing a monitor to power the monitor was a bit of a hassle, and here's why. We all thought we had to hook it up to the reversing light wire so it would turn on when we put reverse gear. The search for this wire took 2-3 hours. LOL - Totally unnecessary hassle. When the guys finally decided to just keep the monitor on all the time, it was magical. The monitor turns on only when it receives a signal from the camera's transmitter. As soon as the signal disappears (the gears are no longer shifted down), the monitor switches off! Wonderful! Installation would have taken an hour or less if we hadn't unnecessarily tried to wire the monitor individually!
