These are very strong magnets! I purchased them to use on a white board that wasn't very magnetic and typical magnets for white board wouldn't stick very well. This fixed that problem completely. After getting these I found out that they work great for hanging a piece of paper, calendar, etc. on the painted wall by just finding a screw / nail. The magnet is strong enough to work through the palm of your hand. See photo. Only down side is that they are so strong they are a little difficult to separate from each other, and they are so flat that removing them from a flat surface can be a challenge. But, when you use them to hold paper, they will hold a lot of sheets.
