I trust Hamilton Beach electrical appliances but not this pasta maker. I was so excited that he made noodles for my kids. The first time I used it it wasn't a problem, I followed the instructions to put in the flour and then added water like the digital number the marker got. The pieces came out smooth but very slowly, my husband said even he could do it faster. On the second day, I completely messed up my lunch schedule. I followed the instructions anyway, but I open the flour jar once so the maker can't see my step, it worked again, it asked for water again expecting it to have mush. So I figured it out, it only works once, I can't stop adding if it works. It's not that easy to clean. You need to clean all the parts and edges to make sure the food will be ok next time. If you don't care about time, you are patient at every step; If you don't want to get your hands dirty, it might be a good idea to opt for a pasta machine.
