Too big for a cat, not the same as before

This product has changed and the bells are much bigger than before, now they are too big for the cat. When I bought them about a year ago they were 1/2 inch as advertised (blue collar shown). The ones I got this time are now just over 3/4" in diameter (red collar). The sound is different now too. They sound louder but are cheaper than previous bells which had a very pleasant ringing The size and volume will probably work well for a dog, but from now on I'll have to find another brand of bells for my cats.
