My chihuahuas always disappeared in the house (they would .

My chihuahuas always disappeared in the house (they would sneak under our feet and if we didn't look down we would notice) my der smallest (4 lbs) got locked in the garage or locked in a room a few times as soon as I left causing panic when I called for it and couldn't find it until I checked outside the door of the last one I was with .Now I hear it all the time your little ones with those cute little cat bells :)

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as fat as other picks

Totally useless! in Plain Collars

These "bells" are very small, as indicated by the 1/2 inch description. But that's not necessarily a problem. The problem is that they are almost silent. a few meters, you will not hear them. So what good is a phone call you can't hear? Zero! And guess what - you can't get them back. So we live and learn, right? If you want jewelry for your dog then there are better options, or if you really want a real bell then look elsewhere.

Hardly makes a sound.

Should have paid more attention to one star reviews. I put a bell on my cat and she barely made a sound. The main reason I carry a bell is because it's constantly in my way and I always need to know where it is. Seems like to use this bell all I have to do is go to the pet store and buy a cat collar with a bell. Don't waste your money, because there is no right of return for this item either. So I've got no money and I've got useless knick-knacks to brag about.

NOT FOR SMALL DOGS! - Dogs

This item says it's for small dogs - my dog is 7 pounds which is MUCH more for him. These bells are a dime or more in diameter and would be too big for such a small dog. To make matters worse, you CANNOT RETURN this item. I have contacted Revain who has given me a refund but there is no way to return this item or request a refund without contacting customer service. No comment on the durability or longevity of this item as I have not used it.

Rescue collars

These were great little bells. We adopted two little black kittens after years of only having big dogs. We were so afraid that we would accidentally hurt her. One kitten quickly had the bell removed from her collar so we got her and we didn't have a single problem. They love to perch on our dark floor at night and run out in front of us. I'm no small woman and quick reflexes have never graced me, so I'm not lying when I say these bells have probably saved the lives of these two adorable…

Pros
  • High marks for fit and durability from testers
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Too big for a cat, not the same as before

This product has changed and the bells are much bigger than before, now they are too big for the cat. When I bought them about a year ago they were 1/2 inch as advertised (blue collar shown). The ones I got this time are now just over 3/4" in diameter (red collar). The sound is different now too. They sound louder but are cheaper than previous bells which had a very pleasant ringing The size and volume will probably work well for a dog, but from now on I'll have to find another brand of bells…

Worthy prize! in dogs

I have a 9 lb Maltese. They can have a muffled sound so I hooked two to one and dangled one. The chet connectors are snagged everywhere and can definitely cause choking hazards or other damage, so I suggest you install new connectors. Throw away everything but the real bells. I had new connections connected together to make the perfect chime. I gave this 3 stars because I still saved a lot of money even if I had to fix it a bit. Use with caution! Especially anything that has a cage door if you…
