Review on πŸ–₯️ SUPMEGA Laptop Stand: Ergonomic Sit to Stand Riser - Adjustable Height 9"-22.7" - Silver by Tutan Dennard

Sturdy but not flat

This laptop stand ticks a few basic boxes, but unfortunately falls short on one of the most important ones. Assembly. The assembly is acceptable but could be better. The first step is to attach three legs. The instructions don't mention that the three legs are different sizes, and if you don't notice at first, oops. Then it is not said what goes where, but it is not difficult to understand. The screws are an odd bit size, which is annoying because even if you have a good set of something like an electric screwdriver, you can get stuck with their small Allen key. However. It's still reasonable. real criteria. The first two real criteria it meets are: First, it goes high enough. That's a big problem with this kind of work. If they don't go high enough, they won't do their job. Check the maximum height and measure the desired height. That actually gives you a pretty good range. Second, stability. In most cases you will have an issue where typing on an external keyboard on the chart below causes tremors and you look at the screen when it shakes? Not very funny. This part is relatively stable. So all good, right? Here's the big problem. This is not a level. I replaced it with my old stand, which wasn't as stable, and while the stability improved, my screen suddenly went askew. I decided it was worse. Basically you might be able to fix it by putting something on one side to lift that side, like lining the table with paper or cardboard under the leg, but seriously? I spent some time making adjustments to see if anything was misaligned and I couldn't figure it out. So it just doesn't work for me. Sorry, mainly because it was more stable than my old free end, but the angle problem is too big. We're not even talking about 10 degrees, but still too annoying. OK. Keep searching.
