When it comes to diesel trucks, filtration is the secret to keeping them running forever. I installed this along with a Beans fuel tank pan, a Fass Titanium fuel system and this filter. Having two 2 micron filters in line pretty much cleans my fuel of all contaminants. Cummins engines are known for their longevity, and keeping your injectors clean keeps things running longer. 2 micron CAT filters outperform standard filters in every way. If you want your Cummins to cover a million miles, remove the stock filter and water separator and install a 2 micron filter. You need to add an in-line water separator with the original filter removed. You can use Baldwin, Fass, Air-dog or any other brand but you will need it.
