I’m no computer tech expert but I am pretty sure this is the best cord you can buy for connecting a thunderbolt 3 laptop to a thunderbolt 3 monitor. I have two Lenovo 32 inch 4K monitors that power my laptop through this cord. It is nice to not have to use a docking station when a cord like this can power a laptop and provide 4K and have enough juice to power USB ports and another 4K monitor through a tb3 daisy chain out. If there is a faster, more powerful cable out there, I’m not aware of it. Star tech is a legit manufacturer. To that point, this exact cord can be purchased on Lenovo’s website. For Mac users out there, I’d buy this over the Apple version for tb3.
