Review on Leviton 101 EP Residential Polarized Non Grounding by Dre Bhatt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality Plug for plug

Easy to install if you know how to strip the wire, use a screwdriver and have a little electrical knowledge. I only needed 2 plugs for a pair of lamps, replaced the plugs with one, but the price for 10 packs was high. I got 10 for what I would have paid for 3 separately. Yes, you can probably go to your local hardware store or hardware store and save a buck. but fuel, time, etc. are too valuable for me. Revane had them on my doorstep the next morning. :) A pair of pointers: This is a two-prong polarized plug. One contact is slightly smaller than the other. The hot wire connects to the smaller contact. On lamps and small appliances, the hot wire is smooth, and the neutral wire has a ridge (or, in some cases, markings) along its entire length. outer insulation. It's a simple way of saying what's hot. If everything is OK! If you have any doubts, your instrument could be of an unusual type or from another country. maybe a DIY shop project. Be sure and test with a multimeter to make sure it's hot. Wondering what happens if you connect it the wrong way around? In this case, current still flows into the device even when it is switched off. The device turns off, but continues to receive power, which it shouldn't be. This can damage the device and/or cause injury. If in doubt, ask someone who knows about it. The last point, and maybe that's why you're replacing the plug in the first place. . When unplugging something from the outlet, HOLD THE PLUG, NOT THE CORD! You can't pull the wire. Take care of yourself.
