This mount was just what I needed. I made a roof rack for my fat bike out of an old Thule roof rack. I originally used a Sunlite fat bike fork mount, but after the nut fell off the mount and I couldn't buy a new one, I had to replace the entire assembly. I bought a 135mm x 9mm fork mount. Suitable for 135 mm fat bike forks with quick release system. I have. 2014 Specialized Fatboy and it fits perfectly. It will not fit through axle forks like the Bluto which is 150mm x 15mm. This mount does not come with a 135mm skewer so you can either purchase an extra one or use the one that comes with your balance bike. The rear wheels on most mountain bikes are 135mm, so they are widely available and affordable. The fork rests on two short metal tubes that are the same size as your axle, and like your axle, the stem runs through the metal tubes to attach your fork to the mount. This design is awesome. Other reviews mentioned misalignment, I haven't had this problem. If the skewer falls or someone steals it, you only need to replace the skewer, not the whole unit. This mount is of good quality and should last a while.
