So I needed some easily accessible USB ports for my desktop so I didn't have to reach under my desk to connect something every time. I bought a 4-port USB2.0 PAUH217U. Another reviewer claimed their cord was nearly 6 feet long, but mine is 4 feet long, which was barely enough to reach the top of my desk. The cable to the computer has two USB connectors, one of which is conveniently colored red and labeled "Power". , Right? But no. I connected to three ports and my iPod started to "disconnect/connect" crazy back and forth until I just unplugged it. Meanwhile, my flash drive's file transfer stopped midway, and when I tried to copy the files again, all the folders on the flash drive were missing (which reappeared after I unplugged and plugged it back in). Even though it was the only device connected from the 4 ports, my Western Digital Passport failed to connect to the computer. However, it works well when connected directly to a computer. So I think if you only want to connect flash drives this might work well. Also note: the seller of the Revain Adorama camera will not accept returns if you open the blister pack that came with it!
