I have never had a problem with a Targus product. This miniature USB hub works just as well as any other 2.0 hub I've owned for about half the price. The version I received has a RED LED instead of a BLUE one. I don't care what color it is as long as the hub works properly. This rating is for the 2.0 device. Great little center. Plug and play, don't worry about software. Contrary to other reviews, the cable length is sufficient. It's lightweight and ideal for moving around your desk when needed. I have a spare hard drive, iPod, iPad and wireless mouse. I bought this Targus powered 4 port mini hub mainly because of Targus' good reputation. Targus features high visibility LEDs on active ports. Works right out of the box. Since I needed a second hub, I settled on an APC-powered 4-port mini-hub, again based on APC's reputation. The APC hub is about $10 more and doesn't work as well.
