I bought it and didn't use it right away. Two were given away, and the remaining three stayed near my desktop. I used one straight out of the box to make sure it worked and worked as expected. A few weeks later, when I had to use it, my computer wouldn't read it. I tried reformatting it but the computer still couldn't tell exactly what it was. I thought I had a dead USB3 port so I tried a different port. The same thing happened. I used my laptop. The same thing happened. I pulled out both spare flash drives. The same thing happened. I have literally no problem with any USB drives around the house other than these. One of them worked once in total and the rest was DOA. I would advise against buying them.
