I almost returned this player after it would not play Blu-ray discs at all. After spending an hour reading reviews of this and other players, and being deeply depressed by their low quality (in small but real percentages), I remembered that one review said the player played certain discs (4K I think) without HDMI2 wouldn't play cable and got error message "No signal from source" - same as me. I then took out the nifty gold-plated HDMI cable that came with the player, unplugged the old cable, plugged in the new one, and voila! Now it works. REALLY a relief that I didn't have to go to the trouble of repackaging them and then guessing which one to roll the dice on. So: for the fact that I didn't have a user manual and caused me a lot of trouble for several days, 4 stars. Time will tell if it goes up or down from there, but for now it's working.
