Very personalized socks!

The name is to be taken literally; The book is actually about "footprints" in the literal sense, since the book requires you to make physical (flat) duplicates of your footprints. The text is excellent, the instructions are clear and the finished product is wonderful. The variety of templates is good and you can go from beginner to experienced by following the templates. However, I personally don't care about socks that are perfect for my foot (and no other's); I would have preferred to learn more about how to adjust the pattern to different measurements. If you have unique feet (an elongated big toe or maybe a wider heel), Then this book is perfect for you. Kath Bordhi rightfully enjoys great respect and her ideas carry over to other patterns. For me, I choose to make socks that I can use to send my daughter 3,000 miles and rely on her measurements; Landing will be fine. but then again, she has no atypical variations in her legs. I'm keeping the book though as it has lots of helpful instructions and very good drawings of the foot and toe.
