This stopped working about 2 years after my contractor installed it. We only used it in the summer months and for what it's worth; Viewed about 30 uses per year max. When I rented out my apartment, my tenant reported that this wall remote never worked. I confirmed this when I returned from abroad. The blue LED did not light up as if the device had no power. Nothing worked on this remote control yet, the light switch next to it worked (double switch panel). I took it apart, but not being an electronics expert, I can't tell if the unit "exploded" or something. And when this remote worked, sometimes the buttons didn't respond immediately. Sometimes you had to press the keys multiple times to register the command.
